SAG Awards Ambassadors are actors who exemplify the utmost values of the profession and are positive role models for the next generation of performers. These individuals actively use their platform for good.

SAG Awards and SAG-AFTRA announced that Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani will unveil the nominees for the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Wednesday, January 10. The nominations will be announced exclusively via Instagram Live on @sagawards and @netflix beginning at 10 a.m. ET / 7 a.m. PT.

In the letter, members assert, “Discrimination based on hair style or texture is a destructive practice that has alienated and caused irreparable harm to Black Americans.”
