Pittsburgh CLO's 2019 Summer Season will be highlighted by stand-out performances from Broadway's best and distinguished stars of film and television, including Jenn Colella, star of Tony-winning Come From Away, Charles Shaughnessy, best known as Maxwell Sheffield on TV's The Nanny and Ace Young of American Idol fame.

Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced its lineup for its 65th season. Among those set to perform are Uma Thurman in Ghosts, Jesse Tyler Ferguson in Grand Horizons, and more. 

Pasadena Playhouse, the State Theater of California, has transformed the historic theater with an all new version of Ragtime: The Musical as it returns to Los Angeles more than two decades after its premiere at the Shubert Theatre.  With 21 actors and a 16-piece orchestra, this is one of the most ambitious productions in the Playhouse's recent history.

Just when you think you have them all figured out." Bart DeLorenzo directs the West Coast premiere of the acclaimed off-Broadway hit Too Much Sun by Nicky Silver (Broadway's The Lyons), presented by Indie Chi Productions in a guest production at the Odyssey Theatre. Previews take place on Feb. 28 and March 1, with opening night set for March 2 and performances continuing through April 21.

BroadwayHD, the world's premiere online streaming platform delivering more than 250 premium live productions to theatre fans globally, today announced that the Geffen Playhouse production of the Drama Desk Award-winning piece The Lion will debut on the platform December 6.  The Lion will join Pulitzer Prize-winning show Long Day's Journey Into Night, and Pulitzer Prize Finalist Play Thom Pain, as the third title to stream on the platform, in partnership with Geffen Playhouse.  The show is directed by Kevin S. The performance celebrates the 80thAnniversary of the Kindertransport and a portion of proceeds will benefit the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust.

Williamstown Theatre Festival (Mandy Greenfield, Artistic Director) has announced details about additional programming and events for the 2018 summer season.

Theatre of NOTE continues its 2018 season with its production of For The Love Of (or, the roller derby play) by Gina Femia, directed by Rhonda Kohl. For The Love Of will preview Tuesday and Wednesday, April 24 and 25 at 8pm, and will open on Thursday, April 26 at 8pm and run through Saturday, May 26 at Theatre of NOTE, 1517 N Cahuenga Blvd (just north of Sunset) in Hollywood.

Netflix has unveiled the trailer for upcoming film 6 BALLOONS. The film, directed by  Marja-Lewis Ryan, stars Abbi Jacobson, Dave Franco, Charlotte Carel, Madeline Carel, Maya Erskine, Dawan Owens, Jen Tullock, Lisa Bierman, Pierce Minor, Heidi Sulzman, Tim Matheson, and Jane Kaczmarek.
