In THE YEAR TO COME playing at the La Jolla Playhouse through December 30th, shows one families New Year's celebrations journey through the years and how their past has built the future.

BroadwayHD, the world's premiere online streaming platform delivering more than 250 premium live productions to theatre fans globally, today announced that the Geffen Playhouse production of the Drama Desk Award-winning piece The Lion will debut on the platform December 6.  The Lion will join Pulitzer Prize-winning show Long Day's Journey Into Night, and Pulitzer Prize Finalist Play Thom Pain, as the third title to stream on the platform, in partnership with Geffen Playhouse.  The show is directed by Kevin S. Acclaimed actresses Jane Kaczmarek ("Malcolm in the Middle") and Kate Burton ("Gray's Anatomy") star in a staged reading of the riveting drama Kindertransport  by Diane Samuels presented by the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in conjunction with producers Patty Glaser, Paula Holt, Perla Karney and Karen Winnick on Sunday, November 11, 2018, 2 pm, in the Bram Goldsmith Theater at The Wallis. Directed by Deborah Lavine, the "moving, thought-provoking play," (Variety)inspired by one of the lesser known but most moving stories of the Holocaust explores the life of a child saved during the Kindertransport, the British humanitarian effort that rescued nearly 10,000 Jewish children prior to World War II. The performance celebrates the 80thAnniversary of the Kindertransport and a portion of proceeds will benefit the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust.

The animated adult series ANIMALS. returns for its ten-episode third season FRIDAY, AUG. 3 (11:30 p.m.-midnight ET/PT), exclusively on HBO. From Duplass Brothers Productions, the show was created by Phil Matarese & Mike Luciano.

Williamstown Theatre Festival (Mandy Greenfield, Artistic Director) has announced details about additional programming and events for the 2018 summer season.

Theatre of NOTE continues its 2018 season with its production of For The Love Of (or, the roller derby play) by Gina Femia, directed by Rhonda Kohl. For The Love Of will preview Tuesday and Wednesday, April 24 and 25 at 8pm, and will open on Thursday, April 26 at 8pm and run through Saturday, May 26 at Theatre of NOTE, 1517 N Cahuenga Blvd (just north of Sunset) in Hollywood.

Exemplifying this season's CVRep theme of 'Romance, Real or Imagined', The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? touches on relationships and betrayal in true Albee style. Well known for pushing the envelope, Mr. Albee, uses sexuality and humor to deflect where the real problems are based.

New York Film Critics Series (NYFCS) in a special partnership with New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) will present a unique movie experience celebrating the 40th Anniversary of National Lampoon's Animal House on Friday February 16th, 2018 at 8pm. The iconic Animal House movie starring John Belushi, Tim Matheson , Peter Riegert, Karen Allen, Thomas Hulce, Stephen Furst, and Donald Sutherland which is a direct spin-off from National Lampoon about a misfit group of fraternity members who challenge the authority of the dean of Faber College.
