Florencia Cuenca (Children of Salt, A Never-Ending Line) leads this ensemble piece with her character of “La Jenni”, our narrator who is a fictionalized memory-version of Jeni Rivera.

Migguel Anggelo is a Venezuelan-American singer-songwriter, multidisciplinary performing artist and countertenor, dancer, actor and painter. His work explores the intersections of his queer, Latino and immigrant identities using music, physical theater, dance, text and costume. As a theater creator, he has been awarded residencies to develop new works at MASS MoCA, the Kimmel Center, the Miami Light Project and beyond.

With an all female Mexican cast, Lozano’s new Mexican musical DESAPARECIDAS will start rehearsals next week. Florencia Cuenca (Children of Salt, A Never-Ending Line) will lead this ensemble piece with her character of “La Jenni”. It will run Dec 2nd through the 18th.

54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, will present selected songs from the new musical Present Perfect by Jaime Lozano and Nancy Nachama Cheser on November 8th at 7pm.
