Donmar Warehouse Artistic Director Michael Longhurst and Executive Director Henny Finch have announced full casting for the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical Next To Normal.

Netflix announced that Anna Leong Brophy, Patrick Gibson, Lewis Tan and Jack Wolfe will be joining the cast for the second season as series regulars in addition to Danielle Galligan, Daisy Head and Calahan Skogman being promoted to series regulars. The series is based on Leigh Bardugo's worldwide bestselling Grishaverse novels.

Enter The Magician's Elephant: a brand new family musical, based on Kate DiCamillo's award-winning 2009 novel.

The Royal Shakespeare Company today released the first images of new musical The Magician’s Elephant by Nancy Harris (book/lyrics) and Marc Teitler (music/lyrics) based on the novel by prize-winning children’s author Kate DiCamillo.

The world stage premiere of The Magician's Elephant will run in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre from Thursday 14 October 2021 to Saturday 1 January 2022 with press night on Tuesday 26 October 2021. Learn more about the production here!

On announcing the RSC's Winter 2020 season Gregory Doran, RSC Artistic Director, said: a?oeWhen I became Artistic Director, I wanted to stage every Shakespeare play in the canon once. We are more than two thirds of the way through that journey, which will conclude at the end of 2021.

New casting announced for the new National Theatre season. Full cast has been announced for Brian Friel's Translations including Colin Morgan and Ciaran Hinds, part of the Travelex season with thousands of tickets available at £15. Eric Kofi Abrefa and Thalissa Teixeira join Vanessa Kirby in the cast of Julie, part of the Travelex season with thousands of tickets available at £15. Sam Mendes directs The Lehman Trilogy, a co-production with Neal Street Productions, cast includes Adam Godley, Ben Miles and Simon Russell Beale. Full casting is announced for the award winning An Octoroon by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, transferring to the National Theatre in a co-production with the Orange Tree Theatre. The NT will tour to 30 venues in 27 towns and cities across the UK and Ireland, for a total of 83 playing weeks over the next year. Rufus Norris' Macbeth to tour to 18 venues across the UK and Ireland from autumn 2018. War Horse returns to the National Theatre marking the centenary of Armistice Day.
