To celebrate The Second City's 50th Anniversary, the legendary comedy theatre will host a weekend of performances, panel discussions and screenings at its intimate theatres on Wells Street and in The Piper's Alley Complex in Chicago on Friday, December 11th through Sunday, December 13th. FINIAN'S RAINBOW star Cheyenne Jackson will be joining the cast of the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning series '30 Rock' next month. Jackson's first episode on the hit comedy series will on Thursday November 12th. The episode is titled 'THE PROBLEM SOLVERS' and will also feature Top Chef star Padma Lakshmi.

As part of NBC Universal's ongoing Talent Diversity Initiative, NBC has entered a first-look deal with Ars Nova, New York's premier artistic hub dedicated to new work in theater, comedy and music. Ars Nova is committed to the development of emerging diverse talent, and will aid NBCU in identifying and meeting with diverse talent, including writers and performers, who develop artistic material at the theater.
