Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International has announced the full list of songs featured in All Together Now!: A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre. This worldwide fundraising event celebrates the return of live theatre and allows organizations around the world to locally produce and perform an exclusive musical revue.

MTI's All Together Now! will be entirely free-of-charge to license with no royalty or rental fees. Participating organizations may license MTI's All Together Now! as a fundraiser for their theatre and perform it live, live-streamed, or a combination of both over a four-day period

With theatre trips across the UK still unable to happen Disney Theatrical Productions is stepping in to offer schools across the UK a virtual theatre trip with free access to the filmed stage version of Newsies: The Broadway Musical, and wraparound educational content.

Thirteen schools have been invited to perform on the main stage at the nation’s leading high school theatre festival. The International Thespian Festival takes place June 22-25, 2021, in its all-virtual format. Produced by the Educational Theatre Association, the festival celebrates student achievement in the performing arts. 

Wilson Central High School will present Newsies, running April 8-9 and April 16-18.

The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and Disney are teaming up to offer The School District of Palm Beach County, grades 6 through 12, free access to a pre-recorded streaming performance of Disney's Newsies: The Broadway Musical.

The Providence Performing Arts Center and Disney are teaming up to offer middle and high school students in grades six through 12  in the following Rhode Island school districts free access to a pre-recorded streaming performance of DISNEY'S NEWSIES: THE BROADWAY MUSICAL.

Shea's Performing Arts Center and Disney are teaming up to offer 2,205 students from the Buffalo Public Schools, Starpoint Central School District, Kenmore Union Free School District, Fillmore Central School District, Genesee Valley School District, and the Jamestown Public School District free access to a pre-recorded streaming performance of the Disney's Newsies: The Broadway Musical.

The Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust will present three virtual programs streaming December 10-17 to connect audiences with Holocaust education and Jewish heritage from home.

Today we flashback to 2012, when Newsies performed on the Bryant Park stage. Newsies is a musical based on the 1992 film Newsies, which in turn was inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899 in New York City.
