Variety reports with less than two months until the theatrical debut of the much-awaited STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, Disney and Lucasfilm thanked fans for the record-breaking presales as well as the huge viewership of the newest trailer for the film, which premiered during halftime on MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL. 

 Following its successful series debut on October 7th, the Hulu Original CASUAL has already been picked up for a second season with a 13-episode order, the network announced today.  Lionsgate Television's critically-acclaimed comedy series will return with creator and executive producer Zander Lehmann and executive producers Jason Reitman (Juno, Up in the Air), Helen Estabrook and Liz Tigelaar.

While Broadway has yet to see a live adaptation of Lucas' epic, there have been valiant efforts made to bring STAR WARS to the stage.

Lupita Nyong'o is heading to Broadway in ECLIPSED. The Academy Award winner will reprise the role she now plays in an Off Broadway production of the show at the Public Theater
