MCC Theater announces that three-time Academy Award nominee, two-time Golden Globe Award winner, four-time Emmy Award winner, and four-time Tony Award nominee Laura Linney will be honored at their 2019 Miscast gala

Works & Process, the performing arts series at the Guggenheim, presents Sergei Prokofiev's charming children's classic Peter & the Wolf.Isaac Mizrahi narrates and directs as Brad Lubman (Dec 1-2) and Oliver Hagen (Dec 7-9) conduct Ensemble Signal and a cast wearing costumes by Mizrahi performs choreography by John Heginbotham, bringing the 30-minute story to life for the young and young at heart.

Isaac Mizrahi comes to THE DJANGO at the Roxy Hotel (2 Avenue of the Americas) with a brand new work, I&Me for four performances only November 13, 20 and 27 doors at 7:00 p,m,, show at 8:00 p.m. and December 4th doors at 9:30 pm, show at 10:30 p.m.

Isaac Mizrahi returns to Cafe Carlyle with an all-new show, Isaac Mizrahi: Queen Size, February 5 - 16. His previous two residencies in the room were sellouts, receiving widespread critical acclaim. Mizrahi will perform classics by Leonard Bernstein, Cat Stevens, Jimmy Webb, John Kander, Cole Porter, James Taylor and Jerome Kern. Once again, he'll be joined by his band of (handsome, thin, single) (maybe not single) jazz musicians, led by Ben Waltzer. With all-new stories and observations, Mizrahi will also have a fresh stock of swag items to re-gift to audience members. No topics will be off-limits: politics, sex, prescription drugs, millennials. In a review of his Cafe debut, The New York Times noted "he is determined to challenge the cultural status quo and help blaze a path into a more liberated future… his Cafe Carlyle engagement is a big deal." Vogue called his previous Cafe residency, "the hottest ticket at New York Fashion Week."

Works & Process at the Guggenheim is pleased to announce its fall 2018 season, which includes new dance and music commissions, and a gala featuring a revival performance of a Works & Process Rotunda Project in the Guggenheim's iconic Frank Lloyd Wright-designed space. Since 1984 the performing-arts series has championed new works and offered audiences unprecedented access to leading choreographers, composers, dancers, musicians, and playwrights, among others. Programs explore the creative process through stimulating discussions with artists and riveting performance highlights. Each 70-minute program takes place in the museum's Peter B. The School of Fashion at Academy of Art University will host its annual Graduation Fashion Show and Awards Ceremony on Thursday, April 26, 2018. The invitation-only event begins with select graduating students from the M.F.A. and B.F.A. programs presenting their work to industry professionals. The programs include: fashion design, textile design, knitwear design, 3D design and pattern making, costume design, journalism, styling, product development, visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, and fashion marketing. The fashion show portion of the event will include womenswear, menswear and childswear collections; several of the collections were created through collaboration by students within the fashion, knitwear and textile design programs.
