The Jewish Museum has launched new audio tours that will illuminate works of art from the Museum's collection, highlight a range of perspectives, and provide an engaging experience for visitors of all backgrounds. Tours feature the voices of contemporary artists Maira Kalman, Isaac Mizrahi, Arlene Shechet, and Kehinde Wiley; curators and rabbis discussing Jewish traditions and rituals through ceremonial objects; students talking about art; verbal descriptions for visitors who are blind or have low vision; and a podcast-style conversation between artists Ross Bleckner and Deborah Kass discussing their work in the context of Jewish identity and LGBTQ+ history.

The ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) honored David Patrick Columbia at the 22nd annual ASPCA Bergh Ball last night at The Plaza in New York City. The event raised $1.1 million to support the ASPCA's life-saving work for animals. Renowned fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi returned as the Master of Ceremonies, while DJ Sam French entertained the crowd throughout the evening. Artistic Director Helgi Tomasson and San Francisco Ballet today announced programming for the 2020 Repertory Season. Building on a heritage of commissioning groundbreaking dance from today's top choreographers, uncovering new choreographic talent, staging modern classics, and preserving the works that make up the canon of classic ballet, the 2020 Season places SF Ballet at the forefront of innovation and preeminence. Highlights include two new SF Ballet commissions by Cathy Marston and Trey McIntyre, and a co-commission with American Ballet Theatre of a work by Alexei Ratmansky; as well as works by George Balanchine, David Dawson, Harald Lander, Edwaard Liang, Benjamin Millepied, Mark Morris, Liam Scarlett, Helgi Tomasson, and Stanton Welch. The Season's three story ballets include Balanchine's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Wheeldon's Cinderella, and Tomasson's Romeo & Juliet.
Premiere Props announced they will be auctioning off over 300 looks from Project Runway All Stars, including over 150 looks from the current season, "Champions," on Saturday, April 6 at the Premiere Props headquarters in El Segundo, CA. This season of All Stars features 14 winning designers from Project Runway, seven from the U.S. and seven from international versions. Hosted by Alyssa Milano, with judges Georgina Chapman and Isaac Mizrahi and editor-in-chief of Marie Claire, Anne Fulenwider, serving as the designers' mentor, the current season's winner will be crowned on the finale on Lifetime on Wednesday, March 27.
