Beach Haven's Surflight Theatre, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Steve Steiner, is ending its highly successful 70th anniversary season with the original musical Tis the Season. With book by Surflight favorite Andrew Foote, concept by Gail Anderson, Musical Arrangements by Steve Steiner and Direction and Choreography by Paula Hammons Sloan this toe tapping tuneful musical of joy, belief and traditions is wowing audiences through December 15th. With fantastic dancing, terrific music, a story of love, laughter, finding the joy and believing, you will leave the theatre uplifted and ready for the Holiday Season.

THE ORIGINAL MUSIC from Nicholas Kaminski's Transgender Starborn: Disco Queen of the Universe will be released November 16 on Spotify and iTunes. Members from the world-premiere production and recording will celebrate the album release with a live concert at 4 PM at The Duplex.

Be transported to the magical, glamorous and madcap world of The Drowsy Chaperone, the final Main-Stage production of the St. Bart's Players 92nd season. The show runs November 5th through November 10th at the Off-Broadway John Cullum Theatre (formerly The American Theatre of Actors Inc.) in Midtown.

Surflight Theatre will be opening their ever popular Holiday production for 2018, ELF the Musical, based on a motion picture of the same name, with a score by Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin on December 5th. The book is adapted by Bob Martin and Thomas Meehan from the 2003 film. This will be the second musical by Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin that Surflight has produced this season having had The Wedding Singer in their 2018 summer lineup.

Sycorax, Cyber Queen of Qamara, written by Fengar Gael and produced by Ego Actus is now in its final week of performance at HERE. The critically acclaimed production is directed by Ego Actus Artistic Director Joan Kane and runs until November 18.

The world-premiere workshop presentation of Nicholas Kaminski's original musical Transgender Stillborn will be held at Surflight Theatre in Beach Haven, New Jersey, at Nov. 11 at 5 PM. The reading will be free and open to the public.

Ego Actus continues it's 2018 season with the World Premiere of Sycorax, Cyber Queen of Qamara, written by Fengar Gael. The production is directed by Ego Actus Artistic Director Joan Kane and runs from November 1 to 18 at HERE.

Featuring the Grammy-nominated score by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell. Set in the American South of the 1920s and '40s.,BRIGHT STAR won the 2016 Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Musical and Best Score and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Music. It also received five 2016 Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical, Best Score, Best Book, Best Lead Actress in a Musical, and Best Orchestrations.

A Rock Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally-known series of events but seen, unusually, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot.

Time Stands Still by Donald Margulies, opened on Thursday night at Theatre for the New City. The Tony Award-nominated play is currently running through March 25. The play is directed by award-winning director, Joan Kane, and produced by Ego Actus and Lung Tree Productions.
