Centenary Stage Company, a professional not-for-profit theatre company in residency on the campus of Centenary University in Hackettstown, NJ approximately 50 miles west of NYC, will be holding auditions for its Family Holiday Spectacular Beauty and the Beast!

A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world.

The Houston Symphony closes out its 2019a?"2020 Bank of America Summer Sounds Series by celebrating the pearl (30 year) anniversary of The Little Mermaid, the animated masterpiece that launched the Disney Renaissance in 1989. The film comes to life on the big screen at Jones Hall this Labor Day weekend at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 31 and 2:30 p.m. Sept. 1.

Pasadena Playhouse, the State Theater of California, has completed casting for Little Shop of Horrors which comes to the Playhouse September 17 through October 20; the press opening is September 25.

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS announces that Tony Award nominee Gideon Glick (To Kill A Mockingbird, Significant Other) will join the cast of the production for two weeks only, from Tuesday, November 5 a?" Sunday, November 17, while original star Jonathan Groff is on a scheduled leave from the production.

You may have heard of the long journey of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS from a 1060 Roger Corman horror film (with a young Jack Nicholson) to a 1982 Off-Broadway hit musical, a 1986 film with Rick Moranis, Ellen Greene, and Steve Martin, and a revival in 2003 this time on Broadway with Hunter Foster, Douglas Sills and Kerry Butler. And believe it or not, another revival coming to Off-Broadway previewing on September 17 and opening October 17 to the Westside Theatre Upstairs with Jonathan Groff, Tammy Blanchard, Christian Borle, and Kinglsey Leggs.
