Following the initial run in Chester last year, Joanna Woodward is soon set to lead the opening of The Time Traveller's Wife in the West End this October. She talks to us about the value of creating from the ground up, the universality of this story, and the joy of a complex female character.

With only a week to go until West End LIVE, the final details have been revealed for this free annual showcase, celebrating the best of London's musicals. Produced by Westminster City Council, in partnership with Society of London Theatre, West End LIVE has been a highlight of the theatrical calendar since 2005 for theatre fans across the country and further afield.

Last night, The Time Traveller’s Wife: The Musical  hosted an official launch event at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London. Performances on the night included cast members David Hunter, Joanna Woodward, Tim Mahendran & Hiba Elchikhe as well as writers of the original music and lyrics Joss Stone and Dave Stewart. See photos from the event.

Joining the previously announced David Hunter (Henry) and Joanna Woodward (Clare) in the West End cast of The Time Traveller's Wife: The Musical will be Tim Mahendran as Gomez, Hiba Elchikhe as Charisse and Ross Dawes as Henry's Dad.

Phoebe Cheffings (12) from Wrexham, North Wales, Eve Corbishley (13) from the Wirral and Eva Johnson (11) from Salford have all been cast as Young Clare in the world premiere of The Time Traveller's Wife: The Musical, based on the best-selling novel by Audrey Niffenegger and the New Line Cinema film screenplay by Bruce Joel Rubin.

Gartland Productions has announced the cast of LIFT, opening at Southwark Playhouse  on Friday 13th May 2022. Leading the company, X Factor finalist Luke Friend He/Him (Footloose, American Idiot) will play the role of Busker. He will be joined by West End star Hiba Elchikhe She/Her (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Fiver), playing the role of Secretary.
