Melbourne, it's time to wear your Hogwarts house colours with pride to celebrate Back to Hogwarts Day, a much-loved celebration held worldwide every year on 1 September, the day that Harry and his friends board the Hogwarts Express for a new school year.

The producers of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child have announced new casting for who begin performances at London's Palace Theatre on 13 October 2022.  In addition, the original two-part multi award-winning production is now extending booking to 30 July 2023.

Yankee Stadium is hosting Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway Night when the New York Yankees play the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday, August 15th at 7:05 PM. The first 18,000 guests to arrive will receive an exclusive Harry Potter and the Cursed Child / New York Yankees beach towel. 

The San Francisco production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Curran Theatre will close on September 11. The cast features John Skelley as Harry Potter, Steve O'Connell as Ron Weasley, Lily Mojekwu as Hermione Granger, Lucas Hall as Draco Malfoy, and more.

With all seven productions now open, in six countries, on four continents, from Saturday, June 25, 2022, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will have actors performing live on stage somewhere around the globe continuously. Find out how the magic is happening!

All new photos have beenn released from the Canadian Premiere production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child began performances on Tuesday May 31st and officially opens on Sunday June 19th, 2022 at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre.

The new reimagined production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child opened last Thursday at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre.

The all-Canadian cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is now ensconced in the newly re-modelled CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre where they are in the midst of technical rehearsals in preparation for the show’s first performance on Tuesday May 31st. To mark that day, a special public celebration will be held at Yonge-Dundas Square from 12 noon – 2 pm.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in Melbourne has sold over one million tickets, breaking the record for most tickets sold of any stage play in Australia ahead of the reimagined, one-part production opening at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre in May.

Producers of the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child announced today that Steve Haggard is now playing the role of Harry Potter and Angela Reed rejoins the Broadway company on Tuesday, May 3rd in the role of Ginny Potter.

Including many of the original cast, returning performers are Gareth Reeves as Harry Potter, Paula Arundell as Hermione Granger, Michael Whalley as Ron Weasley, Lucy Goleby as Ginny Potter, Ben Walter as Albus Potter, Nyx Calder as Scorpius Malfoy, Aisha Aidara as Rose Granger-Weasley/Young Hermione and Jessica Vickers as Delphi Diggory.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will once again celebrate the Hogwarts houses with four special performances dedicated to each house. Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw houses are the four living and learning communities for Hogwarts students, named after the wizarding school’s four founders. 

The West Coast engagement of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child celebrates its opening night this week and the cast is prepping for opening with some celebratory magic on the stage of the Curran Theatre!

A further extension to booking has been announced for the original two-part multi award-winning production at London's Palace Theatre to 26 February 2023. Tickets for the extended booking period are now exclusively on sale through Ticketmaster and with all Harry Potter and the Cursed Child's official trade and group booking partners.
