White Heron Theatre Company of Nantucket will open it's first production of the 2023 summer season, Blithe Spirit, by Noël Coward (Present Laughter, Private Lives) and directed by Skip Greer. Greer returns to Nantucket after directing 2017's Outside Mullingar for White Heron.

The Art of Laughter 2023 will continue through the summer with more side-splitting headliners. The series is presented in collaboration with The Comedy Zone on the first Friday of every month.

BIRDLAND THEATER will present the return of Carole J. Bufford in the world premiere of her new show “Divine Decadence” for a special six-performance engagement from Friday, July 21 to Sunday, July 23 with shows each night at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM.

The Cape Playhouse, the longest-running professional summer theatre in the country, will continue its 2023 Summer season on July 1st with the Tony and Grammy Award-Winning Smash Hit Musical, Jersey Boys.

BIRDLAND THEATER will present the return of The Billy Stritch Trio for a special six-show engagement from Friday, July 14 to Sunday, July 16, with shows each night at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM.

Foresight Theatrical, a leading Broadway general management company, under the supervision of partners Allan Williams, Aaron Lustbader and Mark Shacket, has named Lane Marsh as Director of Operations.  Marsh, also a general manager at FST, has been with the company since its formation in 2012.   The FST partners also announced that Nick Ginsberg and Jalaina Ross have been promoted to general managers.
