SF Sketchfest announced a new series of Live from the Archive videos that will be released each Tuesday beginning on May 5, 2020. The series will feature many never-before-seen performances, tribute conversations and panel discussions from the past 19 years and will include appearances by many comedy and entertainment luminaries.

Whether you like tales of social justice, natural history, close-ups of heroes who were ahead of their time, true crime, or something that's #strangerthanfiction - our upcoming slate will give our members amazing stories they can't find anywhere else. Over 147 million households have chosen to watch at least one documentary on Netflix in the last year, and we're expecting our coming lineup to give members more to talk about with their friends.

Disney Junior's animated series 'Mira, Royal Detective' will premiere in the U.S. on FRIDAY, MARCH 20 (11:00 a.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Channel and 7:00 p.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Junior). Disney Channel India will also be premiering a sneak-peek that same day, followed by the series premiere on Sunday, March 22. Set in the magical Indian-inspired land of Jalpur, the series introduces a brave and resourceful girl named Mira, a commoner who is appointed to the role of royal detective by the queen. Following its premiere in the U.S. and India, the series will roll out worldwide in an estimated 160 countries on Disney Channel and Disney Junior platforms globally.

According to Slashfilm, Hank Azaria will no longer voice the character Apu Nahasapeemapetilon on “The Simpsons” due to criticism of racism.

Schimmel Center at Pace University continues its 2018-19 Folk Series with the South Carolina quintet Ranky Tanky on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 7:30pm. Specializing in fusing traditional Gullah music with jazz, blues, gospel, and R&B, the band's eponymous debut album hit #1 on the Billboard, iTunes, and Amazon Jazz Charts.

The evening's repertoire is characterized by choreography and music inspired by worldwide sources, reflecting American society and its multiplicity of cultures, with contributing artists including Silk Road Ensemble member Kevork Mourad, Grammy Award winner Kinan Azmeh, and Battery Dance Founder and Artistic Director Jonathan Hollander.
