BroadwayWorld has learned the sad news that William Guest died on December 24, 2015. The Gladys Knight and the Pips singer passed away of congestive heart failure in Detroit, Michigan, his home for fifty years. He was 74.

GLADYS KNIGHT AND THE O'JAY'S are coming to St. Louis - together in concert, doing full headlining performances tonight, November 13, 2015 at the Fabulous Fox Theatre.

Rhythm and blues legend Gladys Knight is set to perform on New Year's Eve at Walt Disney Concert Hall with two performances, at 7:00 PM and 10:30 PM. Knight and her band will perform a full set of fan favorites and greatest hits.

Ballet Hispanico, celebrating 45 years of repertory that reflects the ever-changing diversity of Latino cultures, makes its annual holiday return to the Apollo stage with additional performances from November 20-21, 2015. Taylor Hicks is on-deck to perform the National Anthem next week at the Major League Baseball Division Series Playoff Game Five at Kansas City Royals, which will be televised on Fox Sports 1 (FS1).

Yesterday (5 October), at the launch event in London for Motown the Musical, Cedric Neal (Berry Gordy) and Lucy St. Louis (Diana Ross) were announced to lead the cast in the West End production, opening at the Shaftesbury Theatre in February 2016.  With music and lyrics from the legendary Motown catalogue and book by Motown founder Berry Gordy, Motown the Musical is directed by Charles Randolph-Wright.  London previews will begin on 11 February 2016, with press night on 8 March 2016, with the show booking to 22 October 2016.
