In its 21st year, ABC Entertainment Talent and Casting is excited to present emerging talent from coast to coast with 2022’s Disney Television Discovers: Talent Showcase. As a part of their continued commitment to creating opportunities for rising artists to be discovered, nurtured and celebrated.

ABC announced the 2022-2023 midseason premiere dates for two new drama series, a new comedy series and a new unscripted series as well as dates for fan-favorite returning series. Check out the new lineup now!

Nominations have been announced for the first-ever Children's and Family Emmy Awards and some familiar names are among the honorees.

The Road Theatre Company returns to live performances with the world premiere of Bernardo Cubria’s THE PLAY YOU WANT March 1, 2022; the first of three plays performing in repertory. Michael John Garcés directs the cast of Peter Pasco, Chelsea Gonzalez, Natalie Llerena, Jonathan Nichols, Roland Ruiz, Christopher Larkin, Stewart J. Zully and Presciliana Esparolini. I had the chance to query Bernardo on THE PLAY YOU WANT and his other important upcoming projects.

I Want You Back, the new Amazon Original romantic comedy starring Charlie Day and Jenny Slate, closes with “Finding You Backwards” a brand-new song from Dawes frontman Taylor Goldsmith featuring Mandy Moore written and inspired by the movie. Amazon has debuted the song exclusively as an Amazon Original track.

THE ROAD THEATRE COMPANY has announced its return to live performances with three plays performing in repertory. THE PLAY YOU WANT, written by Bernardo Cubria and directed by Michael John Garcés, will begin previews on Tuesday, February 8; will open on Friday, February 11 at 8pm and run through Sunday, March 27.

The series followed Katty Huertas, a Latinx artist born in Columbia living in Washington DC. 'Diary of a Future President' is created by showrunner Ilana Peña ('Crazy Ex-Girlfriend') and loosely inspired by Peña's own adolescence. 'Diary of a Future President' has been lauded for its authentic portrayal of a Latinx tween and her friends and family.
