With the help of technology, I had the pleasure of sitting down with two fascinating women who play the lead roles in the upcoming Dutch Apple production of Sister Act. Not only did they share their background and journey, but they offered deep and fun insights into their upcoming roles.

Available everywhere now, the album features songs by Wynette and Jones as performed in the series by Oscar® winner Jessica Chastain and Oscar® nominee Michael Shannon. Included within the album’s 26 tracks are iconic numbers like Wynette’s “Stand by Your Man” and Jones’ “He Stopped Loving Her Today.”

Lobo, Paul Overstreet and Billy Aerts have joined forces to record new versions of their most iconic hits. Their remix of “Me and You and a Dog Named Boo” will be released on January 20, 2023 via Time Life, the song that brought Lobo his first Top 5 hit in 1971. “When You Say Nothing at All” (co-written by Overstreet with Don Schlitz) will be released to all digital platforms a week later, on January 27, 2023.

The 16-track collection traverses genres -- singer-songwriter, rock, pop and Americana -- with words inspired by his life, experiences, people and observations of all that surround him. One of those songs, “Electric Trucker,” is out now (1/20) alongside its official music video, which first debuted on Rock and Roll Globe.

The third single from The Gibson Brothers’ upcoming Jerry Douglas-produced LP, Darkest Hour, “One Minute Of You (Song For Annie Gray)” rides a galloping acoustic guitar foundation with minimal percussion and tasty electric guitar and fiddle flourishes. The song, like most of the Gibson’s catalog, feels equally at home on stage.

Complete casting has been announced as rehearsals commence for Academy Award winner Jessica Chastain as ‘Nora Helmer’ in Lloyd’s radical new production of Henrik Ibsen’s landmark drama A Doll’s House in a new version by Amy Herzog.

The special television taping event will take place on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Jamey Johnson, Justin Moore, Lorrie Morgan, Mark Chesnutt, Michael Ray, Sam Moore, Tanya Tucker, Trace Adkins, Tracy Byrd and Tracy Lawrence are amongst the first artists set as performers.

Rising country star Hailey Whitters announced the first leg of her headline RAISED TOUR that will kick off on February 23, 2023 in Bloomington, IN and includes three dates in her home state of Iowa. The tour is Whitters’ first headline run in support of her critically acclaimed third studio album RAISED that was released earlier this year.

Billy Strings will bring his headline tour to arenas this winter with confirmed shows at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena (two nights), Atlantic City’s Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena (three nights), Charlottesville’s John Paul Jones Arena (two nights), Atlanta’s State Farm Arena and Charleston’s North Charleston Coliseum (two nights) among others.

“New Baby For Christmas” was produced by Jake Gear and recorded by Logan Matheny at Historic RCA Studio A and features performances by Kris Donegan (electric guitar), Chris Scruggs (steel guitar), Lex Price (bass), Jerry Roe (drums), Mike Rojas (piano), Eamon McLoughlin (fiddle) and Kristen Rogers (BGVs).
