Broadway in Bryant Park is back! The 2018 program will bring the best of Broadway together for free performances for six consecutive weeks through Thursday, August 16. New Yorkers and visitors to the Big Apple are invited to come at 11 a.m. every Thursday with performances running from 12:30 p.m. EST - 1:30 p.m. EST on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by 106.7 LITE FM's on-air personalities, this year's annual presentation continues this week.

David Auburn, Rick Younger Celebrate Rising Voices For LEAP Benefit

Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Auburn ("Proof") will provide opening remarks and Rick Younger, featured actor in "Mean Girls," nominated for 12 Tony Awards, will introduce fellow Broadway performers in a celebration of student playwriting called LEAP OnStage: Rising Voices. The fundraiser will be held Monday, May 21, 6-9 pm, in the event space of National Geographic Encounter: Ocean Odyssey, 226 W. 44th Street. Proceeds will benefit LEAP (Learning through an Expanded Arts Program), an arts education organization that serves more than 20,000 students in 175 schools throughout New York City each year. Tickets range from $75 to $250 and can be purchased at leapnyc.org.

Junkyard Dog Productions announces today that the North American Tour of the Tony Award-winning smash hit Broadway musical COME FROM AWAY will launch at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. The tour will go on to play more than 60 cities including Los Angeles, CA (The Ahmanson); Denver, CO (Buell Theatre); San Francisco, CA (Golden Gate Theatre); Vancouver, BC (Queen Elizabeth); Calgary, AB (Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium); Orlando, FL (Dr. Phillips Center); Cleveland, OH (Connor Palace); Ottawa, ON (National Art Centre) and many more across the United States and Canada.

COME FROM AWAY Announces Performance Benefitting The Actors Fund

The Actors Fund announced today that Come From Away has added a Special Benefit Performance for The Actors Fund. This benefit performance will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 7:30 pm at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street).

Last night at Broadway's COME FROM AWAY, American Airlines reunited the six American Airlines, TWA and US Airways crews who were diverted to Gander, Newfoundland on 9/11 and experienced the true stories brought to life in the musical, including Captain Beverley Bass (the first female Captain at American, who is depicted in the show), pilots and crews of these flights and AA's CEO & Chairman Doug Parker as well as the AA Vice Presidents of Flight Service and Flight.
