The New York Pops performed the timeless music of Rodgers and Hammerstein on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. in Find Your Dream: The Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein joined by guest artists Laura Michelle Kelly and Max von Essen, as well as Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA.

Set in the early 1900's Pine Barrens of New jersey, MOTHER LEEDS is a story that places the audience in the immersive role of Sam, the 12th child of stern, on-edge, and frightening, Jane Leeds. Sam discovers the youngest estranged sibling; a brother, who is locked away from the rest of the family. The story takes place during three pivotal days in the life of a religious, ostracized family in the care of a single mother, placing us in the shoes of a child, riddled with curiosity and fear.

A traveling professional theatre company, Vivid Theatre Productions founder Drew Eberhard is excited to debut his second musical cabaret, a show called Fragmentation: Moving from Captivity to Liberation, a fundraiser for his first season. One night only, Sunday, January 26 at Villagio Cinemas, it features some of the best voices in Tampa Bay.

The Design Network (TDN), the fastest growing streaming network for all things home, has announced the premiere of Celebrity House Sitting, a new series from Crazy Legs Productions. The unscripted show will premiere on Friday, January 24 for a 10 episode run.

Gingold Theatrical Group commences the 15th Season of Project Shaw, a special series of evenings of plays that embrace human rights and free speech. All of GTG's programming, inspired by the works of George Bernard Shaw, are designed to provoke peaceful discussion and activism. This series is presented monthly at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre (2537 Broadway at 95th Street).

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and rediscovery of musical gems from the past, is presenting the return engagement of the Off-Broadway production of Gerard Alessandrini's hilarious musical spoof of all things theatre Forbidden Broadway: The Next Generation. Performances resumed Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. for a limited engagement through Sunday afternoon, February 9, 2020 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

BBC AMERICA has announced a new series of powerful short films, Disability Monologues (wt), focusing on challenging and changing the perception of disability. Writer and performer Mat Fraser (His Dark Materials, American Horror Story) will curate the six, 15-minute works, to be performed by himself, poet and playwright Jackie Hagan, Ruth Madeley (BBC AMERICA's The Watch), Robert Softley Gale (My Left/Right Foot), Liz Carr (Silent Witness) and more. The groundbreaking series is written, performed and directed entirely by people with disabilities and will premiere on BBC AMERICA in 2020.
