SHOWTIME has picked up a third season of DESUS & MERO, the network's first-ever late-night talk show, to return in 2021.

SHOWTIME has picked up the hit drama series THE CHI for a fourth season.

SHOWTIME has announced a pilot order for the drama series AMERICAN GIGOLO, starring Jon Bernthal (Ford v Ferrari, The Walking Dead) and written and directed by Emmy nominee David Hollander (RAY DONOVAN). Jerry Bruckheimer, who produced the original film, will executive produce along with Jonathan Littman and KristieAnne Reed. Bernthal also serves as a producer. SHOWTIME and CBS Television Studios have announced they have signed Emmy-nominated and Peabody Award-winning writer and executive producer Clyde Phillips (DEXTER®, NURSE JACKIE) to an overall deal through which he will develop projects for both entities that can air on platforms within or outside the ViacomCBS family. SHOWTIME has announced today that the highly anticipated series PENNY DREADFUL: CITY OF ANGELS will premiere on Sunday, April 26 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The series stars Tony® and Emmy® winner Nathan Lane, Natalie Dormer, Daniel Zovatto, Kerry Bishé, Rory Kinnear, Adriana Barraza, Michael Gladis, Jessica Garza and Johnathan Nieves. SHOWTIME has announced that it has picked up an 11th and final season of its hit comedy series SHAMELESS, premiering this summer. SHAMELESS, which originally premiered in the winter of 2011, ranks as the network's no. 1 comedy, its longest-running series and has the youngest-skewing audience of any SHOWTIME series. Season 10 of SHAMELESS, which will finale on Sunday, January 26, has been averaging 5.7 million weekly viewers across platforms. SHOWTIME has announced a second season of the six-part comedy series BACK TO LIFE, which will be a co-production with BBC Three. From Fleabag producers Harry and Jack Williams of Two Brothers Pictures, BACK TO LIFE is created and written by Daisy Haggard and Laura Solon, with Haggard starring. SHOWTIME has announced a pilot order for the half-hour comedy series BIG DEAL, starring and executive produced by Emmy nominee Vanessa Bayer (Saturday Night Live). Bayer co-created the project with Emmy nominee Jeremy Beiler (Saturday Night Live), who will also executive produce. SHOWTIME has announced the development of a new untitled limited series based on the bestselling book Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber, written by Mike Isaac. Brian Koppelman and David Levien (BILLIONS) will executive produce and write the series, as part of their overall deal with SHOWTIME. Isaac will co-executive produce the project. SHOWTIME has announced that Emmy and Golden Globe nominee David Oyelowo (Selma) will play the title role in the drama series THE PRESIDENT IS MISSING. The network has ordered a pilot, which is currently in pre-production and scheduled to shoot in 2020. Academy Award® winner Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects), Anthony Peckham (Invictus), Heather McQuarrie and Oyelowo will executive produce the series. Peckham is writing the adaptation.
