The Young Vic's highly praised West End production of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, currently playing to capacity each night at the Apollo Theatre, will be broadcast to cinemas around the world on 22 February 2018 marking the fourth collaboration between the Young Vic and National Theatre Live.

Following the sell out run at the National Theatre this summer extra dates have now been added for the return of Inua Ellams' play Barber Shop Chronicles to the Dorfman this autumn, now opening on 20 November and in repertoire until the 9 January. Tickets go on sale at midday on Thursday 31 August.

Casting has just been announced for the Broadway premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Preview performances will begin in New York at the fully renovated Lyric Theatre in March 2018 with an official opening on Sunday, April 22, 2018.

The 1st of September is the day students head off to Hogwarts, and this year it's 19 Years Later - the actual date that the epilogue of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ends and the play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, begins.

Michelle Fairley, Mark Hadfield, Faye Marsay, Mike Noble, Dan Parr, Lemn Sissay, June Watson, Liz White and Shane Zaza star in Jim Cartwright's game-changing play Road, which opened at the Royal Court in 1986. It is directed in a new production by Royal Court Associate Director John Tiffany and returns to the Royal Court's Jerwood Theatre Downstairs now through 9 September 2017, opening tonight 28 July. Continuing the resurgence of Tennessee Williams plays is the Young Vic's Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. This is the popular theatre's first production to make its debut in the West End, in contrast to some recent transfers, with the production running at Shaftesbury Avenue's Apollo Theatre for the next 12 weeks.
