As previously reported, RGA Productions will present Frankenstein, A Rock Musical Concert telling the iconic Mary Shelley tale on Halloween night at the Highline Ballroom. The concert will feature a grand rock style that evokes the sound of Pink Floyd, Evanescense, Alan Parsons Projects, Metallica, Stravinsky & Bartok. Celina Carjaval (Toxic Avenger, Tarzan, Dracula, 42nd Street, Cats) has been confirmed to join the star-studded cast.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have announced that acclaimed actor and playwright Eric Bogosian (Talk Radio, 'Law & Order: CI') has joined the cast of Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming Broadway production of Donald Margulies' TIME STANDS STILL directed by Daniel Sullivan.

Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Ike Turner and Jimi Hendrix. While these African Americans' contributions to the development of rock music are unquestioned, the role of black artists in this musical genre has often been obscured and even impeded by industry practices of marketing music along color lines.

Acclaimed singer, songwriter and bassist Meshell Ndegeocello will co-headline Lincoln Center Out of Doors' concert in Damrosch Park on August 7, sharing a bill with Raul Midón. She replaces Rokia Traoré (previously announced) whose scheduled U.S. tour has been postponed. Ndegeocello blends jazz, funk, rock, rap and soul as she continues to develop the 'neo-soul' genre she is credited with sparking.
