Arthur Miller's THE PRICE Extends Run at Marylebone Theatre

Arthur Miller's THE PRICE, directed by Jonathan Munby and starring Henry Goodman, Faye Castelow, Elliot Cowan, and John Hopkins, has extended its run at Marylebone Theatre following critical acclaim and sold-out performances.

Review: THE PRICE, Marylebone Theatre

Much like All My Sons, the virtuosic Arthur Miller tragedy revived in the West End earlier this year, Miller’s lesser-known 1967 play The Price holds a mirror up to the American Dream and finds people varying degrees of broken by their desire to succeed. “I want money,” declares a character early on. “Congratulations,” another drily replies.

Review: HERE IN AMERICA, Orange Tree Theatre

David Edgar's new stage play about Elia Kazan and Arthur Miller places us mainly in Connecticut, 1952, but struggles to tease out the personal and political complexities within a creative friendship. There is a strong play within Here In America, but it would benefit from being stripped back to the essentials - less Marilyn Monroe, more Marxism. See what our critic had to say.

Review: PANDEMONIUM, Soho Theatre, W1

Armando Iannucci’s name carries great clout; as well as comedy and Dickens, shows such as The Thick Of It and Veep have secured his status as one of our great political satirists, yet until now he has never written anything for the stage. If anyone can skewer the madness of the last few years, it is surely Iannucci. Well, it seems not.
