Andy Mientus (“Spring Awakening”), Krystina Alabado (“Mean Girls”) and Noah J. Ricketts (“Disney’s Frozen”) will star in a new production of Jonathan Larson’s “Tick, Tick … Boom!” as part of Bucks County Playhouse’s 2023 Season.

During a morning kick-off event, Bucks County Playhouse has announced the titles and directors for its 2023 season, which will officially launch May 19. This is the Playhouse’s 84th season, and the 11th since reopening in 2012.

Sesame Street: The Musical has officially opened Off-Broadway at Theatre Row Theatre. Produced by Rockefeller Productions and Sesame Workshop, Sesame Street: The Musical will run through Thursday, November 27, 2022 with an opening night set for Monday, September 19. In all, our final event for pride was a perfect evening that reminded one that Walt Whitman was a super gay voice in a time you might think would not have allowed his candor, but that saw him hailed as America’s poet.

FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW will present Leaves: Songs of Ourselves on June 27th, 2022 – a celebration of the iconic Walt Whitman, inspired by his Song of Myself: “I celebrate myself, and what I assume you shall assume, for every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.”

Ghostlight Players continues its 2022 season with Aaron Sorkin's searing courtroom drama A Few Good Men.  Directed by Joseph Daly, A Few Good Men will be presented two weekends June 9 through 18 at Hemsley Hall (4 Arthur Kill Road) the Parish House for the Church of St. Andrew. 

Bucks County Playhouse’s 83rd Season opened May 21 with the new play “American Jade.” Written by and starring Emmy-Award-winning actress Jodi Long, the show runs through June 11.

When the award-winning actress and playwright, Jodi Long, took her first steps on the Broadway stage in Sidney Lumet's production of “Nowhere to Go But Up,” she was entering a professional world that ran through her family's bloodline. Her Vaudevillian parents had long trod the boards – in fact, as part of a popular song and dance act, they even appeared on the Ed Sullivan show in the 1950s.

Bucks County Playhouse Executive Producer Robyn Goodman, Producing Director Alexander Fraser and Producer Josh Fiedler announced titles and creative teams for the theater’s 2022 season, which will launch May 20.
