Theaterlab, in association with Lawryn LaCroix, is thrilled to announce that three additional performances (Jan 22 at 3pm, Jan 23 at 7pm, Jan 26 at 8pm) have been added to the limited engagement of Rita Kalnejais' This Beautiful Future, which must close on January 30.
Theaterlab, in association with Lawryn LaCroix, has announced that Tony nominee Austin Pendleton will join the cast of the U.S. premiere of This Beautiful Future by Rita Kalnejais. Pendleton replaces the previously announced Bill Buell who has withdrawn from the production.
This production was packed full of excitement, self-reflection, celebration, and a small mimed bird reminding us of the moral of the story.
The newly formed J2 Spotlight Musical Theater Company presents the first of the three productions in the company's inaugural 2020 season. The Happy Garden of Life—a new play about population control, inspired by Kurt Vonnegut's short story, 2 B R 0 2 B—had a sold-out opening night at the New Ohio Theatre on October 18 and closes on Sunday, October 27, after ten performances.
