Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe will present an updated version of the gospel musical HOW I GOT OVER: A GOSPEL REVUE, featuring a mix of traditional and popular gospel songs, from February 18 to March 29.

Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe's 26th season will be a celebration of the “Soul Of A People.” In its 2025-2026 theatre season, WBTT will offer fan favorites, a drama by playwright/actress Dominique Morisseau, and a brand-new world premiere show.

North Coast Repertory Theatre is set to stage a musical comedy that takes Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure and shakes it up. Set in the Wild West, this is a romantic musical that manages to address law and order, justice and hypocrisy. Loaded with laughs and toe-tapping music, Desperate Measures features music by David Friedman and and a book and lyrics by Peter Kellogg. 

North Coast Rep brings together Shakespeare and the wild, witty west in their production of DESPERATE MEASURES. Saturday, April 3 will see the debut of the feature length biopic Robin Roberts Presents: Mahalia on Lifetime at 8pm EST/7pm CST. The movie of legend Mahalia Jackson stars GRAMMY and SAG award winner Danielle Brooks as the gospel legend and civil rights trail blazer.
