Theatre satire site The Broadway Beat has announced their first ever 75th Annual Winter Gala, taking place Friday December 30th at 7:00pm, in-person at Caveat on the lower east side and livestreaming online.

Theatre satire site The Broadway Beat will perform the latest edition of their live show, The Broadway Beat presents Act Three: Beauty and the Beast, on Monday April 18th, 7:00pm at Caveat on the lower east side. The show will also feature opening sets by Joe Pera, Abby Govindan, and Ethan Hardy.

In a spirited dueling of minds that plays off the tropes of romantic comedy, Indian Summer explores what connection is, romantic and otherwise. The play features Spencer Gonzalez, Clara Napolitano, Haythem Noor, and Julian Socha.

Piccione - featuring a series of short plays, all revolving around the theme of mental illness, being presented in a minimalist, staged reading format, in the hopes of raising awareness for the issue of mental health awareness.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced the national awardees of the 46th annual Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF), April 14-19, 2014. Dozens of students received scholarships, fellowships, and cash awards in recognition of their outstanding work. From January 7 through March 1, 2014, these student artists from eight regions presented their work and were selected to travel to Washington, D.C. for an expenses-paid trip to participate in National Festival events taking place at the Kennedy Center.
