Iron & Wine, Okkervil River and James Blake Featured on 2 CDs from WFUV

Noncommercial radio station WFUV (90.7 FM, wfuv.org) will release the 14th volume in its FUV Live CD series during its fall membership drive, beginning October 15. FUV Live 14features 20 songs by the likes of Black Joe Lewis, Edie Brickell, The Head and the Heart, k.d. lang and more, all recorded live in WFUV's Studio A.

Beacon Riverfest 2010 To Rock On 6/26

GET READY TO ROCK! As featured in Hudson Valley magazine, The Poughkeepsie Journal, and Chronogram magazine...Three bands will headline on one center stage in a landmark event for Beacon: 'Super Rock' legends The Fleshtones; Grammy-nominated recording artist and performer, Tracy Bonham; and Brooklyn-based alt-country jam band, Yarn. Local 845 is producing Beacon Riverfest 2010 in partnership with the Beacon Arts Community Association (BACA) and the City of Beacon in Beacon, New York's renovated Riverfront Park. Free and open to the public, the event will be held on Saturday, June 26, from 2pm to dusk-rain or shine.

Due to demand for tickets, Naked Angels (Geoffrey Nauffts, Artistic Director and Brittany O'Neill, Managing Director) has extended the world premiere engagement of Stephen Belber's new dark comedy Fault Lines, directed by David Schwimmer. Fault Lines opened September 30, 2008 at The Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street). The run will now continue through November 9, 2008.

The new play by Stephen Belber is directed by David Schwimmer. Performances began Monday, September 22 at The Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street). Fault Lines replaces the previously scheduled The Talk by Frank Pugliese, which has been cancelled.
