Be Bold! Productions has announced the complete cast of Agatha Christie's The Stranger, which is running Off-Broadway at the Players Theatre April 18 -23.

Agatha Christie’s murder mystery novel, And Then There Were None, published in 1939 and adapted for the stage by Ms. Christie in 1943 is being staged at the Players Theatre in The West Village. The production is part of Be Bold! Productions’ Murder on MacDougal series which produced Murder on the Links in 2021 and Murder on the Nile in 2019.

Actor/Director & founder of the Secret Theatre, Richard Mazda, returns to the stage as Judge Wargrave after a three year hiatus in Be Bold Production's And Then There Were None at The Players Theatre

As any parent will tell you, viewing life through the eyes of a twelve year-old girl can be quite a trip and Lewis Carroll made it a trip down a rabbit hole in his beloved classic Alice in Wonderland.  Wishing to honor Carroll's unique insight into this curious world, creators Michael Sgouros and Brenda Bell have created a musical that will capture the imaginations of every child ages 1 to 101.  The musical premiered in NYC in 2012 and Literally Alive Family Theatre is reviving the production as a special tribute for their 20th Anniversary Off-Broadway.

What happens when the sting of betrayal's flame is fanned by the heat of the Nile? MURDER! Agatha Christie's classic play Murder on the Nile, celebrates its 75th birthday this year having opened in Scotland at the Dundee Reparatory Theatre on January 17, 1944. Be Bold Productions has mounted a faithful production of her smoldering work Off-Broadway at the Player Theatre.

Tis the season for family, tradition, good cheer and of course "A Christmas Carol".  The Players Theatre continues their annual holiday tradition of presenting "A Christmas Carol the Musical" for the 10th year.  The production is a warm and uplifting adaptation of the classic Dickens tale that celebrates the essence of holiday spirit.  With original music by Michael Sgouros, played by a live percussion trio, the show is wrapped in the warmth of joy, suspense and a sprinkling of tender-hearted redemption.

As long autumn shadows cast their spell across Greenwich Village, the days grow shorter and the nights grow restless and long, enticing the Headless Horseman to realize his lonely, faithful quest.  Sleepy Hollow, an original musical by Michael Sgouros and Brenda Bell, which began previews on September 28th at The Players Theatre in New York City's Greenwich Village, reveals a haunting deeper than the woods of the hollow. Its shadows are cast from the darkness of the human soul.

Comedy Burlesque is a musical satire troupe based in NYC's West Village seeking to surprise and entertain through original parodies, both political and fantastical.

Now playing at the Players Theatre, "Cinderella" is a light-hearted, touching adaptation of the well-known fairy tale.  The show features book and lyrics by Brenda Bell and original music by Michael Sgouros, played by two live percussionists and a trumpet player, creating a delightful mixture of good-hearted humor and tender remembrances.  This Cinderella doesn't wait around for her dreams to come true - she makes them happen.  Of course, she is inspired by a little magic along the way.

The funny thing about ADDICTION is, everyone has one! This comedic and heart warming story follows Graham Chili, a country boy from Texas who has just moved to New York City to follow his dreams as a wall street stock broker by day and a cabaret singer by night. Looking to make friends and connect with his new surroundings in the spirit of his hometown 'mega church capital,' and fresh off the bus in Timesquare, he enters a Manhattan Mega church in search of the 'choir practice' room. Instead he erroneously stumbles upon four different 12 step addiction meetings going on in the church basement that divert his attention, inspire his love life, and creates new friends and life realizations! '12 Steps' both entertains and educates also with light parody, both using the popularity and the mystery of the infamous self help program without mockery, but with clever direction and understanding using humor, gentleness, and ingenuity.
