When Broadway's Libby Servais, Terrance Reddick and an all star ensemble of singers take the stage at The Green Room 42 on Sunday afternoon at 2pm, their performances will be accompanied by live professional American Sign Language interpretation. SOUNDS FOR THE SILENT, a cabaret designed to benefit the National Association for the Deaf, will feature Beth Applebaum and Craig Fogel providing live ASL during the performances. Ms. Applebaum is a deaf artist who in addition to her acting credits (recently off-Broadway at Playwrights Horizons) has also interpreted shows and cabarets, notably for Shaina Taub at Joe's Pub. Fogel is a nationally certified interpreter for the deaf whose credits include TWELFTH NIGHT with the New York Deaf Theatre on NYC's celebrated Shakespeare in the Park stage.

During a live-streamed party in New York City, the stars of The Cast Recording Experience, including Broadway's Gianna Harris (School of Rock), Bonale Fambrini (The King And I), Diego Lucano (School of Rock) and Eli Tokash (Finding Neverland), launched The Cast Recording Experience Spring 2018 album. Gathered together at a karaoke place in Manhattan, the young artists listened to their recordings, watched the promotional music video they shot during this 3-day intensive, and had fun doing what they love the most.

Pedro Pan, winner of the 2017 NYMF Developmental Reading Series Award with book by Rebecca Aparicio and music and lyrics by Stephen Elkins, will be presented as an official selection of the 2018 New York Musical Festival's Next Link Project beginning July 10th at the Acorn Theatre on Theatre Row.
Wondering what the kids of Broadway, Movies and TV do when they are not working? Broadway Kids Jam just launched its new series, featuring amazingly talented working kids who love to jam and make music when they are not performing on Broadway, or making movies, TV shows or commercials. Each video the kids work on a song, figure out the words, melody and parts of the song for about an hour, and then videotape their jam session. Sure they may forget some words or miss a few notes, but they have so much fun playing together and supporting each other's talents! They come from different backgrounds and are different ages, with different talents and abilities, but share a common bond - MUSIC.
Stars from School of Rock, The Lion King and Matilda among others, launched The Holiday Star Experience Album and a music video to promote their charity collection. According to Eduardo Jimenez Pons (Producer), The album is a joyful mix of pop, rock and jazz versions of Holiday Classics, Broadway and Pop songs, perfect to make the spirits bright on this Holiday Season . Leading the promotional efforts for the album and its cause is the music Video of Train's Shake Up Christmas which was shot in New York City and San Juan, PR.
