Just last night, Manhattan Theatre Club presented its annual Spring Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street (110 East 42nd Street). This year's event honored Serino Coyne Founder and Chairman Nancy Coyne for being a tireless advocate for the arts and featured performances by the casts of many of the most acclaimed musicals on Broadway including Ain't Too Proud, Be More Chill, Beetlejuice, The Cher Show, Choir Boy, Hadestown, King Kong, Pretty Woman, and Tootsie. 

Longtime Broadway veteran Derrick Baskin has earned his first Tony Nomination for his performance in Ain't Too Proud and he's telling us all about what the honor means to him!

Just last night, Second Stage Theater celebrated its 40th Birthday Gala with a special concert performance last night, May 6 at Hammerstein Ballroom, headlined by Emmy and Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth.

Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of The Temptations will launch 'TODAY''s annual Broadway Week, when the Classic Five Temptations - Derrick Baskin, James Harkness, Jawan M. Jackson, Jeremy Pope, and Ephraim Sykes - perform numbers from the new Broadway musical.

At Broadway's Imperial Theatre, toes are tapping and hands are clapping as audiences hum along to the hits of The Temptations. The story of the legendary musical group is told in Ain't Too Proud, a brand new musical that follows their extraordinary journey from the streets of Detroit to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Second Stage Theater has announced that Emmy and Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth will headline its 40th Birthday Gala with a special concert performance on Monday, May 6 at Hammerstein Ballroom (311 W 34th Street).

Last night, Orange is the New Black's Danielle Brooks, Dascha Polanco, and Natasha Lyonne visited Ain't Too Proud on Broadway! In addition, Clive Davis was also in attendance! The Tony Awards Administration Committee met today for the third time this season and confirmed the eligibility status of seven Broadway productions for the 2019 American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards®. The Tony Awards Administration Committee will meet a total of four times throughout the 2018-2019 season to decide the eligibility for the 73rd Annual Tony Awards.
