Theatre 40 to Present INCIDENT AT OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP Beginning in January

He's Theatre 40's favorite playwright, too. His new play will be the sixth that we've produced. The king of Canadian comedy is letting us produce the World Premiere engagement of A Clean Brush.

THE METROMANIACS Comes to Theatre 40 in July

Metromaniacs aren't people who are crazy about subways. They are people who are nuts about poetry, i.e. verse composed in meter. David Ives' play The Metromaniacs is an English language adaptation of a French farce from 1738, La Metromaie, and it is set in Paris in that year, a moment when there was a particular craze for poetry. Ives' play is performed in English, in rhyming couplets.

Silent Sky, a play by Lauren Gunderson, will run at Theatre 40 from March 17th through April 17th, 2022. The show will play Thursdays through Saturdays at 8:00 p.m, with Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m. The production is directed by Ann Hearn Tobolowsky and produced for Theatre 40 by David Hunt Stafford. Silent Sky is the story of a real woman whose life and discoveries were significant in their impact on Man's (and Woman's) next steps into the universe at large.

Pioneering scientists in electronics, they were rivals with differing viewpoints on delivering energy. Edison was about the money, while Tesla was more a believer in free energy for all. Commerce won.
