Artists Rep's Board of Directors, along with Executive Director J.S. May and Managing Director Kisha Jarrett,  have begun succession planning and are collaborating to ensure a smooth artistic leadership transition. The Fabulous Fox Theatre has announced that Roald Dahl's CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY will play St. Louis at the Fabulous Fox Theatre March 8 – 10.

Four new trustees will also be joining the Lyric's Board bringing new talent and skills to the existing Board chaired by Lisa Burger; Rondette Amoy Smith, Lameya Chaudhury, Professor Farah Kerim-Cooper and Derek Richards.

Directed by Pitlochry Festival Theatre’s Artistic Director, Elizabeth Newman, Adventures with the Painted People is a compelling love story, exploring the value of history and the power of writing. Lucius is a cultured Roman officer, captured by the Picts and about to be sacrificed. Eithne is a wise Pictish woman, who wants to record her people's history in writing, a skill they do not yet have. She makes a deal - she will rescue Lucius, in exchange for him teaching her to write. So, they must flee - not by road, the Romans have not built those yet, but down river...

Directed by Tony Award-winning Tom Morris (War Horse) and based on Joe Simpson's bestselling memoir turned BAFTA-winning film, David Greig's thrilling adaptation charts this astonishing feat of human endurance. Life-affirming and often darkly funny, Touching the Void takes the audience on an epic adventure that asks how far you'd be willing to go to survive.

Featuring a range of artforms and practitioners, the programme represents the culmination of months of planning and preparation. Alongside the live work, McGrath has announced a permanent addition to the Fuel rosta - Fuel Digital. A place where digital streams of new and existing work are presented through Fuel's own web platform. 

This summer will be an entirely outdoor rep season in various locations across the Pitlochry campus. This twenty-two strong acting Ensemble will be performing in Pitlochry for different lengths of time throughout the summer, some for a week, some for two and others for many months.

Pitlochry Festival Theatre have today announced the casting for the long-awaited stage premiere of David Greig's new play, Adventures with the Painted People, which will open in Pitlochry from 10 June to 4 July as part of the theatre's outdoor Summer Season. 

As the final in-theatre seats were snapped up for Bristol Old Vic's Touching the Void, the theatre today announced its live-broadcast partners to help bring the production to a global audience.

A new play by David Greig, Adventures with the Painted People, which was originally commissioned by Pitlochry Festival Theatre for its 2020 season and subsequently became an acclaimed radio play on BBC Radio 3, is set to have its world stage première from 10 June to 4 July in the theatre's outdoor amphitheatre as part of their Summer Season. 

With the final camera positions set in the auditorium, and demand high, Bristol Old Vic has today released the final theatre seats for its opening live-broadcast/in-person production Touching the Void.

David Greig and Charlie Fink’s Olivier Award-nominated adaptation of Dr Seuss’ The Lorax, directed by Max Webster, is inventively transformed into a semi-staged pint-size version for THE OLD VIC: IN CAMERA series to keep young (and older) minds entertained, enchanted and empowered with its central message of protecting the planet.

Pitlochry Festival Theatre has announced that this Summer it will reopen with an exciting season of outdoor performances. Performed from June till September in the theatre’s newly built 80-seater amphitheatre and riverside bandstand, the Summer season will include the stage première of David Greig’s Adventures with the Painted People.
