INTAR today announced the cast for the World Premiere of Julio Down by the Schoolyard, a new play by J. Julian Christopher, directed by Lou Moreno.Julio Down by the Schoolyard will play a special limited Off-Broadway engagement during World Pride/Stonewall 50, three performances only: Thursday June 27th, Friday June 28th, and Saturday June 29th all at 7pm.

Today, The Collaborator Party, headed by theatrical sound designers Lindsay Jones and John Gromada, announced that their event will return for its fifth year in New York City, after four years of the now legendary sold-out parties across the country. The Collaborator Party is the official Tony night party for the entire theatre community. This year, the main party will be held June 9, 2019 at Houston Hall (222 W. Houston St. in New York City) from 7pm-11pm EDT, with additional parties taking place simultaneously in Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles. Planet Connections' signature event, PLAYWRIGHTS FOR A CAUSE at the Theater at the 14th Street Y, played to a sold-out crowd that joyously handed the team of writers and other artists a standing ovation. This year, Planet Connections' signature event, designed to address a powerful social and topical issue facing our society today through engaging stage works, will explore the distinctions between gender and sexuality. The event will benefit THE ALI FORNEY CENTER, whose mission is to protect LGBTQ youths from the dangers of homelessness and empower them with the tools needed to live independently.
