The Parsnip Ship (Artistic Director/Host, Iyvon E.) announces a free in-person podcast recording of Cockfight by Peter Gil-Sheridan. The event will be held Monday, March 27, 2023 at The Mark O'Donnell Theater in Downtown Brooklyn (160 Schermerhorn St.) at 7:30pm.

LAByrinth Theater Company will launch into its 30th Anniversary season with the return of The Barn Series 2023, an annual festival featuring a full roster of new plays, and Día Y Noche, a world premiere production written by David Anzuelo (Shared Sentences) and directed by Carlos Armesto (The Who’s Tommy).

59E59 Theaters has announced additional productions for their Winter 2023 Season. The 59E59 Winter 2023 Season will begin with the previously announced productions of The Immortal Jellyfish Girl, presented by Wakka Wakka; followed by two productions as part of Origin’s 1st Irish.

David Cale, Patrick Foley, Hari Nef, Daniel Oreskes, Parker Posey, Bill Sage, Aleyse Shannon, Amy Stiller and Nat Wolff will appear in the company’s world premiere of The Seagull/Woodstock, NY, by Thomas Bradshaw, adapted from Chekhov, directed by Scott Elliott. 

Out of the Box Theatrics and Jennifer Campos Productions will present a staged reading of RED EYES by Michael León on Monday, December 12, available for in person or livestream viewing.

Houses on the Moon Theater Company is presenting the world premiere of Emily Joy Weiner's SHARED SENTENCES directed by Lisa Rothe with additional material by Barbara Allan, Kevin Barron, Zudaydah Rivera, and Tanasha Gordon, through November 12 at 122CC. See photos here!

The world's most famous vampire is back! Actors Theatre of Louisville revives its annual Dracula tradition for in-person audiences by producing a new adaptation by Kate Hamill. Witty and terrifying, Hamill's Dracula was first seen in New York in 2020, and Actors Theatre of Louisville's production represents the second production and regional premiere of this stunning adaptation.

The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Monologues will return on Tuesday, October 5th, with an all new series of unforgettable performances. Eighteen actors have been paired with writers who have crafted unique pieces especially for them. From 6 PM until 10 PM, new monologues will be published every 15 minutes.  

Dorset Theatre Festival will close out its 44th main stage season with the world premiere of Queen of the Night by travis tate, outdoors at the Southern Vermont Arts Center in Manchester, VT. Directed by Raz Golden, the play stars Danny Johnson (All The Way, The Song of Jacob Zulu) and Leland Fowler, who appeared in the Festival's 2018 production of Skeleton Crew.

LAByrinth Theater Company will present BACKSEAT, a series of readings of new works inspired by the formation of The Drivers Cooperative NYC. LAByrinth company members have created fifteen new works exploring the intersection of the American Dream and the reality of the working class world of New York City drivers.
