Making history yet again, THE SIMPSONS has been renewed for its 31st and 32nd seasons on FOX, by which time, the series will have produced 713 episodes.

Songwriting team Jude Treder-Wolff and Wells Hanley return to The Duplex with their new collection of songs inspired by stories in MASHUP-Stories Into Song, Sunday, March 10 at 4:00 pm. MASHUP-Stories Into Song is an entirely unique show that brings an incredible line-up of storytellers and singers to the stage. Great stories have words, ideas, and an emotional energy which inspire music. Treder-Wolff and Hanley write songs inspired by stories told by some of New York's finest storytellers. With incredible arrangements by Wells Hanley, the story and song are performed as a pair, with the song performed by a singer matched to the style of the song. The 2019 Freihofer's Saratoga Jazz Festival features an extraordinary roster of twenty-two musical groups, highlighted by the festival debut of Grammy award winning artist Norah Jones, and the return of jazz legend George Benson and festival favorite Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. Back by popular demand is also Los Van Van 50th Anniversary, Django Festival All-Stars with Edmar Castañeda and Grace Kelly, Joshua Redman Quartet, and James Carter Organ Trio. Fifteen emerging artists making their Saratoga debuts include Kandace Springs, Donna Grantis, Joey DeFrancesco Trio, Mercy Project which features Jon Cowherd, Brian Blade, John Patitucci, and Steve Cardenas, Antonio Sanchez & Migration, and Cha Wa. The festival will also feature a record number of groups led by women artists, highlighted by Allison Miller, Veronica Swift, Ruthie Foster and Youn Sun Nah.

Families can sing along to the fun music of Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could, coming to Mayo Performing Arts Center on Sunday, March 3 at 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm. Tickets are $12-15.

Dave Matthews Band has just announced the dates for its 2019 North American summer tour. The headline runwill kick off on April 30th in Pensacola, FL and includes two-night stands in Camden, NJ; Noblesville, IN; Elkhorn, WI; Saratoga Springs, NY; West Palm Beach, FL; and Denver, CO. The band will return to the Gorge Amphitheatre for its traditional three-night Labor Day run August 30-September 1, pushing its total number of performances at the scenic venue above 60. Dave Matthews Band will also perform at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 4 as part of the festival's 50th anniversary celebration. The band will conclude its North American tour on September 22 at the 2nd annual Sea.Hear.Now Festival in Asbury Park, NJ.

Trey Anastasio returns to Walt Disney Concert Hall for a solo performance today, December 7, 2018.   Over the past three decades, composer/guitarist/vocalist Trey Anastasio has forged a multi-faceted career, winning acclaim in rock, classical, and theatrical circles. He is a founding member of Phish, one of today's most successful and innovative rock bands. Known for uncompromising musicianship and spectacular live performances, Phish released their 15th studio album, Big Boat, in October 2016 and finished the year with another sold-out four-night run at Madison Square Garden. Anastasio also tours regularly with the Trey Anastasio Band, which also released a new studio album, Paper Wheels, in October 2015.

Over 50 prominent musical artists, including Dave Matthews, Peter Gabriel and Mike Rutherford, have come together to record a tribute to Johnny Clegg, a true South African legend who has made and continues to make an indelible mark on music history. Last night, the recording was revealed to Johnny Clegg at Ellerman House in Cape Town, South Africa.

Amazon Prime Video today announced it will premiere a Christmas episode of its hit kids series Pete The Cat on November 20 in the US and UK. Pete The Cat: A Very Groovy Christmas features all-new Christmas music from iconic singers Dave Matthews and Jason Mraz, among others. Based on the popular book series, Pete The Cat: A Very Groovy Christmas features the voices of Elvis Costello, Diana Krall, Jessica Biel, and Jacob Tremblay.

Guitarist and singer-songwriter Peter Mayer, of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band and The Peter Mayer Group, has released his first illustrated book for all ages, entitled A Junkman's Christmas Eve. The tale of Ernie the Junkman's journey to Christmas is a story rooted in Mayer's childhood and is brought to life with vibrant illustrations by artist and illustrator Phyllis London. Her work hangs in private, public and corporate collections across the country and she is a Signature Artist Member of the Noyes Museum of Art.

Following the October 9 US Supreme Court decision to uphold North Dakota's new voter ID law, the event was organized by Native American organizations to help get out the vote. The law, upheld by the Supreme Court just weeks before the election, requires that all IDs used at the polls include a street address - thereby disenfranchising the many Native American voters who only have a P.O. Box on their tribal identification cards.

The Colorado Music Hall of Fame presented by Comfort Dental will host its next induction event Monday, December 3, 2018 at the historic Paramount Theatre. The induction of 97.3 KBCO and legendary concert promoter and artist manager Chuck Morris will be accompanied by a cavalcade of musical appearances from Amos Lee, Todd Park Mohr (Big Head Todd) & The Monsters, Isaac Slade and friends from the Fray, Bill Nershi and members of The String Cheese Incident, Vince Herman and Drew Emmitt from Leftover Salmon, Jeff Hanna and some members of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Leo Kottke along with backing band Chris Daniels & The Kings, plus more surprises to be announced. 

Dick clark productions and ABC announced an all-star lineup of soul and gospel legends who will come together to pay homage to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, at the "2018 American Music Awards." Gladys Knight, Ledisi, Mary Mary, Donnie McClurkin and CeCe Winans, friends of the late, luminary singer/songwriter, will take the AMAs stage for a moving tribute honoring Franklin's gospel roots and iconic gospel album, "Amazing Grace." Consulting producer for the tribute is the Emmy Award®-winning music director, composer and producer Rickey Minor. Hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross, the "2018 American Music Awards," the world's largest fan-voted awards show, will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 8:00 p.m. EDT, on ABC.

Dave Matthews Band have announced a 10-city arena tour kicking off on November 27 at Schottenstein Center in Columbus, OH.  The east coast trek will include a two-night stand at New York's famed Madison Square Garden on November 29 and November 30 as well as two hometown shows in Charlottesville, VA at John Paul Jones Arena on December 14 and December 15.  A portion of proceeds from the John Paul Jones shows will go to support the redevelopment of public housing in Charlottesville.
