Review - Damn Yankees & Through The Eyes of Eak
by Ben Peltz - Mar 18, 2012

With its funny, sexy and sentimental book by master craftsman George Abbott and a catchy and clever score by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross, Damn Yankees is a textbook example of the kind of big and brassy musicals that made Broadway's Golden Age glitter.  Paper Mill's terrific new production is packed with boisterous comic performances and, as the song says, miles and miles and miles of heart.

Review - The Patsy & Jonas
by Ben Peltz - Jul 25, 2011

When Barry Connors' frothy family comedy, The Patsy, enjoyed its seven-month at the Booth during Broadway's 1925-26 season, it was a three-act play utilizing one living room set and seven actors.  Transport Group's new production, directed by Jack Cummings III, reduces the piece to an intermissionless 75 minutes, minimizes the set to a sparsely furnished room and casts each role with five time OBIE Award winning actor/playwright David Greenspan.

by Linda Hodges - Jul 18, 2011

Original and inventive, Fly by Night is a fantastical and lyrically rich play that bears clear signs of genius as it asks us to ponder the paths we take - both unplanned and chosen.
