The American Theater Group, Somerset County’s newest professional theater company, will present a reimagined version of The Evolution of (Henry) Mann as its 2021-22 season opener. The new musical, by composer Douglas Cohen (Children’s Letters to God) and Dan Elish (13) is an engaging, light-hearted look at finding love in today’s modern world.

Casting continues for the upcoming Netflix film adaptation of Jason Robert Brown's '13: The Musical'- more specifically for a young actor to play the role of 'Zee'. Stephanie Gorin Casting just shared a casting notice for the part, calling for a 12-14 year-old to play a 13 year old that is 'proudly living a gender non-conforming life with non-binary openness.' Non-binary actors are encouraged to submit.

Des Moines Young Artist Theatre production of a?oe13,a?? with a book by Dan Elish and Robert Horn, with music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown, examines the up and down a group of students goes through as they turn 13. While this can be one of the most awkward times in a person's life, there is nothing awkward about this amazing production!
