On Wednesday night, May 22, you could feel the buzz amongst the supportive, near sold-out crowd as Henderson embarked on his final performance of GETTING TO NOËL YOU! His comic timing and facial expressions were nothing short of entertaining!

As we all know, the 23/24 Broadway theatre season has been one of the busiest in a very long time with many new plays and musicals opening within a short period. One of those shows was The Notebook. The community theater Center Stage Community (Censtacom) will debut their next musical show Thearapy on June 8 and 9 at Teater Salihara. The show explores various problems faced by theater performers. The show will use various songs from musical theater as a way to express and work through their problems.

Soho Theatre and Traverse Theatre will present the World Premiere of My English Persian Kitchen, Hannah Khalil’s life-affirming new play, directed by Chris White opening at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival from 1 – 25 August before transferring to London for a three-week run from 16 September to 5 October. 

This summer will see the inaugural StoryFest held at the National Youth Theatre’s RIBA award-winning headquarters in North London. A month-long festival that demonstrates the NYT’s commitment to championing new work from emerging talent, many of whom are alumni of the NYT themselves. 

Cypherbird Projects will present a genre-bending journey through a Cabaret Of The Unexpected at the Mercury Cafe on June 6 and 8, starting at 6:30.
