Performances for the exclusive West Coast production of the Tony and Olivier Award-winning Best Play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, will begin on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at San Francisco's Curran (445 Geary St.).

Producer Stacey Mindich announced today that the North American tour of Dear Evan Hansen, which launched September 25, 2018 in Denver, has recouped its investment at a remarkable pace-after only 12 weeks on tour.

Described by the Los Angeles Times as a "cultural phenomenon," Dear Evan Hansen comes to Seattle's Paramount Theatre from January 23 through February 2. In advance of the start of performances, the production announced today that it will host a digital ticket lottery offering fans the chance to purchase a limited number of $25 tickets available per performance.

From this Friday 11 January the Australian premiere production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will begin releasing 40 tickets for every performance of the play for $40 per part. These tickets are known as the "Friday Forty" and are for some of the best seats in the theatre. They will be released each Friday for the following week's performances. Entries for the first Friday Forty are now open and close at 1:00PM AEDT on Friday 11 January.

KeyBank Broadway at the Paramount is thrilled to announce the winner of six 2017 Tony Awards Dear Evan Hansen will play The Paramount Theatre for a limited two-week engagement from January 23 February 2.

The First National Tour of Dear Evan Hansen has broken the box office record for the highest-grossing week ever at San Francisco's Curran. For the week ending December 9, 2018, the production grossed $1.64 million despite only playing seven performances. This breaks the eight-performance week record previously set by The Book of Mormon in 2012. Dear Evan Hansen is playing at the Curran now through Sunday, December 30, 2018. BroadwayCon has announced the Tony Award-winning Harry Potter and the Cursed Child cast has joined the BroadwayCon 2019 lineup. As part of the Spotlight series, the panel will feature Jamie Parker (Harry Potter), Noma Dumezweni (Hermione Granger), Paul Thornley (Ron Weasley), Poppy Miller (Ginny Potter), Sam Clemmett (Albus Potter), Alex Price (Draco Malfoy) and Anthony Boyle (Scorpius Malfoy), moderated by Melissa Anelli (Co-Founder of BroadwayCon and author of Harry, A History) on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 1:45 p.m.

As footage of the internationally award-winning production is released (see link below), new tickets for the West End production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child go on sale today (4 December 2018) at 11am GMT for performances at the Palace Theatre until 29 September 2019. Over 100,000 tickets at all price points will be released on today at 11:00 AM ET for the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the fully renovated Lyric Theatre (214 West 43rd Street, New York, NY). This further block of tickets is for performances through June 9, 2019 at all price points starting from $40.

The smash hit musical Dear Evan Hansen is bringing the laughter and the tears to cities all around the country starting this fall. Performances begin tonight, September 25, at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (September 25 - October 13, 2018), followed by engagements in Los Angeles (October 17 - November 25, 2018) and San Francisco (December 5 - December 30, 2018).

ASU Gammage announced today that the Tony Award-winning musical set a new record for fastest sellout of a show at the historic Frank Lloyd Wright theater by selling out of all available tickets during the show's fan presale, leaving no tickets for the general public onsale. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will celebrate its German premiere at the Mehr! Theater am Großmarkt in Hamburg in the spring of 2020. The announcement was made today by the show's producers Sonia Friedman, Colin Callender, Harry Potter Theatrical Productions and the German producer Maik Klokow. In preparation for this extraordinary theatre event, the venue will undergo an extensive redesign starting in May 2019.
