Big Loud's rising country star begins her new chapter of music, giving fans three new tracks off her forthcoming album. The breakout songstress releases the album's title track, “shot in the dark,” “mean girl (feat. Colbie Caillat)” and “tastes like,” available everywhere now.

Revealing the highly anticipated body of work in a surprise moment at the Grand Ole Opry this evening, the new chapter begins Friday, June 23 when the songstress will share the flavorful introduction of what fans can expect from the album with the release of three tracks: “tastes like,” “shot in the dark” and “mean girl feat. Colbie Caillat.'

“Pretend” was written by Caillat alongside Grammy-winning, Hall of Fame songwriter Liz Rose and 7X chart-topping songwriter AJ Pruis. A common theme found throughout the album, “Pretend” laments on the ending of past relationship but aims to focus on the happy times rather than succumbing to feelings of sadness and regret.
