Duluth Playhouse will kick into high gear with opening night of the musical Footloose June 24th. Footloose runs June 24 through July 17 at the NorShor Theatre. 

The 80s are back with this rockin' musical, jam packed with all your favorite powerhouse hit songs from the era, such as 'Holding Out For A Hero,', 'Let's Hear It For The Boy', 'Almost Paradise,' and of course, 'Footloose!' Join Ren as he moves to a new town and shares his love of music and dancing. FOOTLOOSE is a celebration of youthful innocence, the importance of listening to one another, and the healing power of forgiveness. This explosive and dynamic production is a celebration of individual expression and the power of music and dance.

Duluth Playhouse returns to live performances with the epic, Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Ragtime at the NorShor Theatre, running March 18th through April 3rd.

Spend the holidays with everyone's favorite red headed orphan and her dog Sandy as they escape the dastardly Miss Hannigan by getting whisked off to the mansion of Oliver Warbucks. Join Annie as she navigates 1930s New York City in search of community, connection, and a place to call home. Her bravery and childlike wisdom bring hope to a recovering nation in need.

Duluth Playhouse will launch their 2021-2022 season with Monty Python's SPAMALOT, opening September 17 and running through October 3rd at the NorShor Theatre.

The NorShor Theatre presents Songs of the Season, a brand-new holiday revue featuring inspirational stories and classic songs like Silent Night and All I Want For Christmas Is You,  among others, and will be performed by local professional artists Carolyn LePine, Gabriel Mayfield, Shad Olsen, and Christina Stroup.

The Duluth Playhouse rings in the holiday season with the beloved family adventure musical that is also celebrating the 80th anniversary of its feature film, The Wizard of Oz. It plays in the NorShor Theatre from December 5-22, 2019, and is directed by guest artist, Joe Chvala (who also directed last year's Beauty and the Beast).

VIOLET is a 1997 musical with music by Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics by Brian Crawley. It's based on the short story 'The Ugliest Pilgrim' by Doris Betts. The musical first premiered Off-Broadway in 1997 and won the Drama Critics' Circle Award and Lucille Lortel Award as Best Musical, it was later produced on Broadway but considered a revival. While it was Tony Award nominated, it did not win.

Join us for TexARTS' Teen Musical Theatre Academy's production of Once On This Island, Jr.  Performances are scheduled for April 13 - 15 at the Kam & James Morris Theatre at TexARTS (2300 Lohman's Spur, Suite 160 Austin, Texas 78734).

Written and created by Roger Bean with vocal and musical arrangements by Michael Borth, The Marvelous Wonderettes: Caps and Gowns is directed by Melissa Rain Anderson with musical direction by Don Kot and will be performed in the Fielding Stage from tonight, December 7, through December 24.
