THML Theatre Company Announces its 2018-2019 Season

THML Theatre Company is proud to announce its second season: Opening Doors & Closing the Gap. This season will consist of a private reading series in the fall to launch the development of 3 new plays and 2 new musicals, and a two-month residency at The Secret Theatre in Long Island City to premier 3 plays, 1 musical, and 1 special musical event in spring 2019. The season will feature the work of 6 female playwrights, 1 female composer, and 4 female composer/lyricists.

Science Channel Announces Full Cast For MythBusters Jr.

Adam Savage's return to television is getting closer as host and executive producer of MythBusters Jr., a 10-episode series that will give six of the nation's most talented kids a chance to show off their amazing ingenuity and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) skills. They will tackle myths similar to those seen in MythBusters, ranging from driving, explosions, chemistry, physics, popular culture and more. The series is currently in production and will premiere in the Fourth Quarter of 2018 on Science Channel.

Musicals at Richter (MAR), celebrating its 34th season as the longest-running outdoor theater in Connecticut, kicks off the summer with 'Legally Blonde,' the effervescent and wildly upbeat musical based on the popular 2001 film comedy starring Reese Witherspoon. Staged on the grounds of the Richter Arts Center in Danbury, performances take place outdoors under the stars Friday through Sunday evenings at 8:00 p.m., with additional specially discounted performances on Thursday, July 5 and 12. There is no show on Friday, July 13.
