When a grown-up Tiny Tim asks Sherlock Holmes to investigate the peculiar death of Ebenezer Scrooge, the Great Detective must use his tools of deduction to get to the bottom of the crime. But it is a dark and treacherous Christmas Eve, and once again the holiday is haunted by the spirits of the past, present and future.

150 years after Charles Dickens' death, Atlanta's David Robert Weber and Los Angeles based Creator and co-adapter, Tim Blewitt sat to down together to adapt A Christmas Carol into the one-man show, An Actor's Carol: One Clown's Dickensian Marathon towards Redemption. Weber plays 22 distinctive characters while running tech in this one man band tour de force.

THEATRE THREE, Port Jefferson, has announced A Carol for This Christmas, a virtual performance adapted from Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. This new take on the holiday classic features six actors playing the many roles in the holiday classic, filmed socially distanced, with actors both onstage and in the theatre’s auditorium.

Hale Centre Theatre will keep family traditions alive this December by screening “A Christmas Carol” at all Utah Megaplex Theatres starting Dec. 11 and nationwide on Broadway on Demand. Seating capacity at the Sandy theatre is restricted to 25% by the local health department due to the coronavirus, and the production is practically sold out. 

COCA will present Manual Cinema’s Christmas Carol, a co-commission from Emmy Award-winning performance collective Manual Cinema, as a livestream performance on December 4–6, 2020.
