The cast included: LaChanze, Liz Callaway, Natascia Diaz, Melissa Rose Hirsh, Bonnie Milligan, Katie Thompson, Kuhoo Verma, Sasha Allen, Andréa Burns, Hannah Elless and Barbara Walsh. Broadway stars Sasha Allen, Andréa Burns and Hannah Elless have joined the world premiere cast of Award-winning composer Carmel Dean's Well-Behaved Women, it was announced today. Premiering at Joe's Pub on Saturday, January 25th, the 7 PM performance sold out in less than 48 hours, and an additional show has been added for 4:30 PM.

Transport Group announced today that Denise Dickens, formerly of Abingdon Theatre Company, will join the company as its new executive director, replacing Lori Fineman, outgoing executive director. Dickens will join founding Artistic Director Jack Cummings III at the helm of the off-Broadway, award-winning, non-profit theatre company.

Original Off-Broadway Recording Of RENASCENCE is Now Available

Yellow Sound Label and Broadway Records announced today that the Original Off-Broadway Cast Recording of RENASCENCE is now available digitally and at BroadwayRecords.com, and in stores on Friday, May 31. RENASCENCE won the 2019 Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best Musical and was originally produced Off-Broadway by Transport Group. RENASCENCE has music by Carmel Dean (musical director for If/Then, American Idiot), lyrics from the poems of Pulitzer Prize Winner Edna St. Vincent Millay, and a book by Tony nominee Dick Scanlan (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Everyday Rapture). Orchestrations are by Tony winner Michael Starobin (Assasins, Next to Normal). The album was produced by Michael Croiter (Matilda, Heathers), Carmel Dean and Dick Scanlan.
