The solo project of LA-based singer, songwriter, producer and composer Max Hershenow, best known for his work as half of acclaimed alt pop duo MS MR with singer Lizzy Plapinger. After several years focused on writing and producing for other artists, he's introducing a new era of his alexmaax project.

Last week, Forbes ran a piece about the Nederlander Organization, Broadway's second biggest landlord, leaving Ticketmaster. The piece was fairly light on details, so confusion spread, and I read a bunch of incorrect takes. This piece (filed well before sundown Sunday) is my attempt to provide some clarification.

J8KE has released his latest heartfelt project, “Hold Me.” “Hold Me” is a rhythmically pulsing anthem capturing the hopeful energy of a young man turning over every rock in his search for intimacy. J8KE’s genre-diverse-inspired acoustic groove was mixed and mastered by producer Marco Silvenses.

The hypnotic disco rhythm builds up to a brilliant beat drop accompanied by Poolside’s romantic ballad of vocals. “We Could Be Falling In Love” balances the sounds of a vibrant nightclub with the lyrics of an intimate date night. The single comes with a visualizer that Poolside filmed during his recent show at The Bellwether.

Here Poolside, which is the recording project of producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jeffrey Paradise teams with Cut Copy bassist Ben Browning and turns “Ride With You” into a co-write of new and nostalgia as island rhythms and steel drums ripple beneath Browning’s echoing vocals.

Broadway's own Idina Menzel is set to headline the 37th annual Palm Springs Pride Festival on Saturday, November 4. 

Idina Menzel is no longer working with Scooter Braun as her manager. The confirmation comes after the recent news that Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato had cut ties with Braun this week. News that Justin Bieber had also stopped working with Braun surfaced last week, but those rumors have since been shut down by Braun's team.
