Pearl Sun will star as Norma Desmond in the Daniel C. Levine-directed production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. Connecticut's A Contemporary Theatre will open its sixth season with Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard, with performances beginning October 26 and continuing through November 19. ACT Artistic Director and Broadway alum Daniel C. Levine is directing.

Broadway's Pearl Sun will star as Norma Desmond in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s legendary Sunset Boulevard at ACT of Connecticut.

ACT (A Contemporary Theatre) of Connecticut recently wrapped the final production of their 2022-2023 season - THE SECRET GARDEN. Performances ran this May and June.

The Lyrics and Lyricists 2022/23 season will close with California Dreamin’: Jessica Vosk Sings the Songwriters of Laurel Canyon on June 2, 4 and 5, an intimate exploration of the legendary icons of California’s Laurel Canyon in the 1960s and ‘70s.

This year, that recipient is the Tony Award winner Lillias White, who will be honored on May 22nd in a glitzy gala filled with show business greats.

ACT (A Contemporary Theatre) of Connecticut has announced the cast for the final production of their 2022-2023 season – THE SECRET GARDEN. The show promises to be the perfect spring musical and will close out the theater's fifth season.

The York Theatre Company is presenting Vanities-The Musical, with book by Jack Heifner, music and lyrics by David Kirshenbaum, music direction by Deborah Abramson, and choreography by Shannon Lewis. The show is directed by Will Pomerantz. Check out reviews!

Zoe Sarnak’s score rocks. It sounds at times like Blondie or the B-52s (I like the B-52s so that comparison is not a dig here), but is so intrinsically connected to the emotional arch of the story being told that it soars like a musical theatre score should.
