The Founding Members of Black Theatre United (BTU) announce the release of their historic New Deal For Broadway, establishing industry-wide standards and reforms around Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Accessibility & Belonging (EDIAB) with a focus on Black individuals in theatre.

The Educational Theatre Foundation will welcome two new members to its national board of trustees for the 2022-2024 term, adding to the existing pool of prominent leaders from a diverse range of industries including entertainment, finance, hospitality, law, education, and nonprofit theatre, all with a common passion for theatre education. 

Following critically acclaimed, sold-out engagements in the UK, the reimagined 50th Anniversary tour of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR will come to Seattle from Tuesday, October 5 through Sunday, October 10.

Tomorrow, August 6, Broadway Records will release of the world premiere concept recording of EDGE OF THE WORLD: A Concept Album, written by Tony nominee Ethan Slater (SpongeBob Squarepants: The Broadway Musical, Who's Your Baghdaddy) and Drama Desk nominee Nick Blaemire (tick, tick...BOOM!, Glory Days). The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center has announced single ticket on sale dates for the Kimberly-Clark Broadway Across America — Fox Cities Series. Tickets are also available at the Fox Cities P.A.C. ticket office in person or by phone at (920) 730-3760 Monday-Friday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Dallas Summer Musicals and Broadway Across America announced that a digital ticket lottery for a limited number of seats will be held for WICKED, which is returning to Dallas’ Music Hall at Fair Park from August 3 – September 5, 2021, kicking off the 2021-2022 Germania Insurance Broadway Series presented by DSM.

Single tickets for HAMILTON will go on sale to the public Friday, July 2 for performances November 16 – December 5, 2021

Producer Jeffrey Seller and ASU Gammage announced today that single tickets for HAMILTON will go on sale to the public on Monday, June 21 at 10:00 a.m. Performances are set for a five-week run from September 8, 2021 - October 10, 2021.

Tuesday, May 4, 2021 – The Broadway In Kansas City Series announced this morning that the Broadway tour of HAMILTON, originally scheduled for Sept. 28 - Oct. 10 at the Music Hall, has now been rescheduled to March 21 - April 2, 2023.

Rejoicify! Dallas Summer Musicals and Broadway Across America just announced that WICKED will return to the Music Hall at Fair Park, August 3 – September 5, 2021, kicking off the 2021-2022 Germania Insurance Broadway Series presented by DSM. The show will be one of the first returning national tour engagements.

Broadway is coming back to Grand Rapids and it is worth the wait!  After a long intermission, the new season will open in January of 2022.

Broadway Across America and The American Theatre Guild have announced the return of Broadway to the stage with the Broadway Is Back In Kansas City Series at the Music Hall and Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.  This powerful season features a 6 Show Season Ticket Package including MEAN GIRLS, TOOTSIE, AIN’T TOO PROUD and more.

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County and Broadway Across America are anticipating the return of live Broadway programming to Miami in the fall of 2021.

Broadway will return to the Marcus Center this fall when Hamilton kicks off the 2021- 2022 season in October 2021. 

The Hippodrome Theatre and the team at Broadway Across America have been collaborating with Broadway producers to relaunch shows and reroute touring schedules throughout North America. The Hippodrome has announced that seven of the eight previously announced shows have been rescheduled beginning in the fall of 2021.
